I have been transcribing the Holdens directory for 1809. It is interesting in that it names quite a number of Coffee houses in 1809, when George III must have been on the throne. I have a number of listings for the Holdens directories on 1805, 1808 and 1811 on the pubwiki site, and and these are of little interest to most people because they don’t realise they are there!

I compare with that of the 1811 directory, but I have also noticed that a Coffee house may suddenly be named, but with no street number, whereas the 1811 directory may use the address but not the name of the establishment!
