I have been transcribing the Holdens directory for 1809. It is interesting in that it names quite a number of Coffee houses in 1809, when George III must have been on the throne. I am also not clear why I am not #1 in google for London pub history any longer, as every pub I am searching for brings me straight back to the pubwiki site!
